My truck has had an intermittent braking problem - the dealer first fixed the front brakes, the problem came back. Then the dealer fixed the back brakes, $470 later the problem came back. I finally gave up with the dealership - I can't believe it, but MasterTech fixed the problem for only $36!!! Guess how often I'll be going back to the dealer.

Both your service manager and mechanic were extremely nice to me. The truck didn't make any noise when I took it in (doesn't this always happen!). They didn't charge me anything, which I really appreciated.

These guys are really good. I used to go to the dealer but they were very pricey and need the car for two days. Mastertech got the work done for a lot less in the same day.

First shop I have ever been to where they did not try to rip me off. They told me it would be $200 to fix my car. When I went to pick it up it was only $160. They told me the part was less then they expected it to be. I tell everyone about these guys.

The auto repair shop is good with all possible tools for checking and repair. They are sound technical people to check the issues in your car. There prices are lower can standard name brand repair shops. Service is timely and satisfactory. They check the problems for free is you are ready to get it corrected by them else they are going to charge around 37.50$.

Expecting to pay up to $600 on front end repairs that I told them I

I have never had a bad experience at Mastertech. Like other reviewers comments, they tell you exactly what's wrong, and if something else needs attention, they will tell you it can wait if need be. I always am thankful to Leland, when many years ago I had an old Toyota that had a carburetor problem. I didn't think I had much choice, so I decided to bite the bullet and have it replaced. Later he called me up and told me he was reluctant to put an expensive item in a car that could have another major problem at any time. He configured the original to work fine, as long as I warmed up the engine before driving (which he explained very well). Problem solved. You don't get that type of help very often.

Wayne and the mechanics at Mastertech are wonderful. They never rip you off on car repairs. They explain exactly what the problem is and give a timeline of when you NEED to have the repair done as opposed to up selling your car repairs. You can trust that they are an honest repair shop.

For someone with little to no car knowledge and being female to boot...serving our car was a nightmare. Our car overheated and we didn't know where to get good service without being ripped off. I turned to the internet to read some reviews to see what the people had to say for options. I found information on MasterTech in Plano, which was a convenient location for someone living in Plano (near Collin Creek Mall). We had previously taken our car for a maintenance check at Firestone and had a quote from them to compare. Mastertech did the work for about 1/2 the cost, saving us a whopping $460!! We were extremely delighted how helpful the service people were. I have to know them by name, Bill and Wayne and just about everyone we spoke to were helpful and honest and spent plenty of time to educate us on our particular problem. Look on their homepage to get an additional 10% off any service. Really worth the trip!! I just had to write in to confirm the other reviewers had it right!

They quoted me a repair for $370 over the phone. When I went to pick up my car it was only $330.00 They told me the part was cheaper then they thought it would be. These guys are honest.

Ford told me I needed a $6K eng. I called MasterTech and they told me if it needed an new eng they could do it for >$4k. It turned out to be some thing else. I picked it up the next day. Cost $390.00.
