Setting Up Your TeamViewer for Remote Access

This guide will show step-by-step instructions for setting up email on TeamViewer for Windows, Linux, MAC OS. While it can be used for other versions of Outlook, some screens and steps might vary.

Step 1: DOWNLOADING

Open your web browser, type in http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx. Then, click the Download button.

Download the Program

Once the download is complete, open the file. Click the run button

 

Step 2: INSTALLATION

You will be redirected to Teamviewer 8 Setup. Select the following options as follows:

Then, click Accept – finish.

 

Step 3: THE WAITING GAME

Wait as the installer copies and install the needed files:

Step 4: THE CONFIGURATION

Once finished, the “Unattended Access” wizard pop-up. This will help you to navigate on how to setup your computer that can be controlled remotely by another user without being physically present in-front of your unit.

Supply the appropriate information

Fill-up Information

Select the option “I don’t want to create a Teamviewer Account”.

Save your “ID” as this will be used as your login ID, and your previously created password.

Create ID

Then click finish.

 

Step 5: READY TO GO

Under Remote Control tab

Let your partner know tour “ID”.
As well as the password.

and voila!!!! Your partner is now connected or controlling your system now. You can notice it when you see this window/s.
